Mother of pearl is the only material that won't interfere with the flavor of high-quality roe. Metal, including silver, reacts with caviar and introduces a metallic note that flattens everything you paid for. These spoons are carved from natural shell, with a bowl sized perfectly for tasting and a handle that fits comfortably in your hand. Set of two, because you should always have a spare, or a guest.
